The FM Bloodhound girl's and boy's cross country teams travelled to Cedar Rapids Saturday, August 27th to participate in Cedar Rapids Prairie Invitational.  The Lady Hounds placed 3rd overall and the Hounds came in 8th place.

Girls Team Standings

1. Monticello 53, 2. Pella 70, 3. Fort Madison 114, 4. Mount Vernon/Lisbon 123 (won tie-breaker with sixth runner), 5. Marion 123, 6. Cascade 138, 7. Anamosa 168, 8. Cedar Rapids Xavier 185, 9. Solon 217, 10. Clear Creek-Amana 259, 11. Maquoketa 309.

Boys Team Standings

1. Mount Vernon/Lisbon 31, 2. Marion 45, 3. Pella 103, 4. Cedar Rapids Xavier 114, 5. Anamosa 133, 6. Clear Creek Amana 150, 7. Monticello 170, 8. Fort Madison 189, 9. Solon 261, 10. Maquoketa 312.

 

Sierra Howardson came in 1st Place at 20:07, Brett Schneider came in sixth with a time of 21:27, Claire Mendez was 29th in 22:57, Elizabeth Miller 32nd in 23:04 and Cayleigh Smith 46th in 24:04.

Brynn Schroeder finished 51st in 24:57, and Maddy McVey placed 57th in 25:57.

Aaron Steffensmeier led the Hounds with a 26th place finish  in 18:58. Jared Kester placed 35th in 19:46, Dayne Cordray 37th in 19:54, Noah Sissell 44th in 20:02 and Nathan Steffensmeier, was 47th in 20:08.  Miguel Trejo finished 58th in 21:02 and Joey Grabowski 67th in 22:22.
